COAL TAR TAPE |
Loid T-21 Coal Tar Tape is designed to protect buried metal surfaces from corrosion and electrolysis. Loid Coal Tar Tape is completely saturated and bonded to both sides of a high tensile strength fabric. Coal Tar Tape is manufactured to meet the requirements of AWWA: D 36, D2415, BS 4164 and IS 1022.

Loidtape is supplied in rolls with a plastic liner to separate layers. Available in widths of 200mm, 250mm, 330mm, 500mm and 1000mm, lengths of 10 meters and in thicknesses of 2, 3 and 4mm. Material is packed in cardboard boxes and shipped. Loidtape Confirms to IS:15337, AWWA C203.
STORAGE, HANDLING & SHIPPING
All packages to be stored in cardboard boxes in a cool dry covered area. Direct contact with sunlight to be avoided. Proper care must be taken while handling the material during stacking, loading and unloading. No package should be dropped or thrown from vehicles. Packages should not be handled with hooks. it is also recommended that the coating and primer be stored inside during cold weather.
